Its graduation season and I have a graduation card to flip for!

Cap and Gown Graduation Flip Card by Beth Pingry

I used MyStik™ Permanent Strips for the tassel, graduation cap, card base and inside layers.

I used 3D Foam Squares to make the pocket for the gift card.

I created the card to look like a graduation gown, with a graduation cap that flips up to reveal a gift card. The card stands up on it’s own and will be perfect to display at a party!

I have a tutorial on my blog Cookies for Breakfast, I hope you’ll come take a look. It is pretty easy to make, just takes a few folds and a little paper!

These are my supplies:

Thanks for stopping, and Congratulations Graduates!

Hi there, Birgit here today with a layout to share.

This layout has a lot of little bits and pieces and Scrapbook AdhesivesTM by 3L  has an appropriate adhesive for each and every one of them!

I used my E-Z Runner Permanent to adhere pieces of book paper on the cardstock, Then I put stripes of Washi tape around the book paper and let some Wild Plum glimmer mist run down the page. Then I used the E-Z Runner to put the the paper circles and the picture on top. It is so easy applying the adhesive around the round edges! I also used this for the paper embellishments.

For the heavier embelishments I used Crafty Power Tape, one of my all time favorites. This adhesive is so strong and so easy to use. I even used it to adhere the heart jewel.

For the flowers and the word awesome I used 3D Foam Squares – White, Regular Size. They are great to add some depth to your page. I also used them for the buttons and the metal number that has a gap on the backside that needed to be filled in order to be able to apply it to the page. The foam squares filled the gap and stuck the number to the page at the same time.

Finally I used DODZ™ for the the flies in the middle of the page. These are handmade with wire and beads.

Happy crafting,

Birgit

Hi there, Nina here. Today I want to show you a layout using the awesome collection “Everyday Poetry” from Webster´s Pages. I love the bright colors in here so much….

To make the wooden frame I´ve cut out a wood foil by myself. That´s an easy way to make my own frame in every size and color I want….

For a great effect I´ve used two frames one above the other . Between the frames I´ve add some  little 3D Foam Squares.  So it looks like a real wood frame ……

To glue up my picture into the first frame I´ve used the E-Z Dots Mini dispenser. It´s so easy to glue around the whole wooden frame….

Products:

Thank´s for visiting today,

I got an order for a confirmation card and I wanted it to be a little romantic since it was for a girl.

All the flat bits are glued with Crafty Power Tape, which I love because it’s so easy to work with.

I used Photo Corners , which I collored and put under the blonde to make it stand out more

The flowers have been assembled with Dodz. The little flowers on stalks are also glued with Dodz under the big flowers.

It’s easy to work with Dodz. They come in singles on a small sheet of transparent, so you can easily see where you want to put it.

Here you can see one of the thick Dodz – a 3D effect Dodz.

They come in three sizes, and I’ve used size small for the flowers.

I’ve used paper from Glitz, “French kiss”.

Die from Memory Box.

Border Punch from Martha Steward.

Butterfly from Panduro.

The rest is from my stash.

Latisha here with you today.  Make sure you read the entire post, because we are having a special Mother’s Day giveaway!  Here is a card that I made using scraps on my table.  Do you ever feel like paper scraps are cluttering your creative process?  I do sometimes.  I hate scraps, yet I hate throwing them away.  So, I grabbed a few, and decided to make a card.  The bling I used is also some scraps, from a long swirly pearl thing.

I like to have birthday cards, thank you cards, all occasion cards on hand.  It seems like I am always in need of a card last minute.  Whether its for my children to give to a friend, or an unexpected thank you note, I like to have a stash of cards to use.  This is when I usually use up my scraps, and its just fun to create for the fun of it, not for a deadline.

So grab your favorite Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™ products (mine would be 3D Foam Squares & a MyStik™), some scraps, embellishments and see what kind of fun you can have.

The pattern paper was adhered using a MyStik™ Permanent Strips dispenser, and the panel that has the sentiment on it, was adhered using 3D Foam Squares (white).

Our Mother’s Day Giveaway is this fun crafting kit with MyStik™ Adhesives, Crafty Foam Tape, Thin 3D Foam Squares, Photo Corners and a fabulous crafting apron!Your comment enters you in the random drawing. Entries accepted through 11:59pm, May 12, 2012, Central Standard Time.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Mothers day is coming up soon – and it made me wonder what it means to me to be a mother.

I have made this layout to my youngest to tell him what he means to me :-)

All papers and letter stickers are from the wonderfull Websters pages / Game on collection. Behind the photo I have some thick glitter cardstock – sometimes I find it hard to stick a photo to this – but I found that the new DODZ™ where the perfect adhesive for keeping it together !

At the bottom of my page I was missing something – so I ran a straight line of E-Z Dots® Mini Permanent along a ruler and then added some brown embossing powder. Heated it up and then underneath ran another straight line along the steel ruler with the Red E-Z Runner® on top of this I added plenty of Fun Flock.

Some buttons and a fabric sticker liftet with the 3D Foam Squares – White, Regular Size and my project was finished.

Have fun creating today.

Nothing says summertime like a baseball game! And living with 3 baseball super-fans, we see a lot of baseball games!

Play Ball by Beth PingryThis fun Game On kit from Websters Pages features nice bright colors and sports themed images, perfect for me!

For the border I aligned the printed words with just a few strips of adhesive from the E-Z Runner®, all the way down the edge.

I used the E-Z Runner® to mat the photos and other blocks.

For the “Clark and Addison” street signs, I printed photos I had taken of the signs. I used Thin 3D Foam Squares and regular 3D Foam Squares to add dimension and depth. This is how I placed them on the back sides of the signs ~

This way the signs look like more realistic, one side is ‘closer’ to you than the other, like this~

I also added 3D Foam Squares behind the drink image, just a single regular layer, so that it had dimension.

Play Ball by Beth PingryThese are the supplies I used:

Thin 3D Foam Squares Black Mix, 3D Foam Squares Black Small, E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips

Thanks for reading, and Play Ball!

Hello everyone, Vicki here.

It’s been so fun and inspiring seeing all the gorgeous creations done with Websters Pages and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™.  Although the hop is over, I couldn’t resist playing with these beautiful Webster’s Pages papers for the card I created for this blog post.
With Mothers Day just around the corner, I decided to create a card to give my sister for Mothers Day.  I LOVE butterflies, so of course I chose to make them the focal point of my card :)

My “go to” adhesive is E-Z Runner®, its always on my work table.  I used it for putting the layers of my card together, but I used white 3D Foam Squares to give lift to the individual die cut pieces with the butterflies off the paper a bit.
It always amazes my what a difference just a little bit of dimension can make.

This is just a little something I wanted to share, along with my card. As I was looking at the Webster’s Pages Papers sitting here on my desk, my eye was drawn to this beautiful paper with the rose image. I remember that I had some vintage metal trays in my supply closet that this paper would look so great on. Something as simple as adding paper to this tray….. finding a new use for something old makes me HAPPY :)     The E-Z Runner® did the job, perfectly adhering the paper to the metal.
Sometimes a quick simple project works into the day perfectly.  Almost instant gratification:)

Enjoy the process!
Thanks so much for stopping by
