So summer is officially here in AZ. Once you hit 107 degrees, it doesn’t look back until mid to late October. Well summer in this house means birthdays. We have one at the very end of May and two in July. So with that in mind, I thought I would make a birthday card. Fun huh!
So here is how I made this fun card full of glittery goodness.
First I took the amazing Adhesive Sheets and rubbed a portion on the top part of the ice cream cone.
Then, using an adhesive eraser, I took of the excess adhesive to give it a nice finished look.
Shook off the glitter…
and voila! I also used the MyStik Vellum tape runner and applied a border of it around my card and glittered it up. Sorry I don’t have that photo to show you. I used my 3D Foam Squares to pop up the die cut and the ticket. I think it turned out so fun and happy. Perfect for a summer birthday don’t ya think?!
In case you were curious the additional products I used are: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Kraft; Ice Cream cone and ticket die cuts: Vintage Street Market; Stamp: Paper Smooches; Rhinestones: Kaisercraft; Baker’s Twine: Divine Twine by Whisker Graphics
Have a great day!
