Winter Wonderland

Today I have chosen to show you a winter card using one of my favorite Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: The MyStik™ Repositionable Dots

For this card I’m using some light blue DCWV cardstock, 2 different Martha Stewart punches, some Claudine Helmuth gesso, pink flock from Stampendous + washi tape and button bought in Denmark.

I use the MyStik™ Repositionable Dots dispenser all over the top 2/3 of the front of the card – then paint with a medium layer of gesso.

Now you have to be patient…..

The gesso takes about an hour to dry – and usually I would reach for my heatgun to let the drying part go a bit faster, but that’s a no no here. It will simply turn the MyStik™ Repositionable Dots into permanent dots !

When you have made sure that the gesso is dry – use your fingers to rub away all the MyStik™ Repositionable Dots and the card will now look like this:

Now you have something that looks like a snow storm on the top of your card, and it’s ready to be embellished.

I have chosen to ad some washi tape + a stripe of Crafty Power Tape covered with soft pink flock.

On top of this a 3D snowflake created with the punches and lots of 3D Foam Squares between the layers.

Finish it of with a button and a stamp – and Voilá the card is ready to be send.

Hope you’ll all have a happy and creative week-end.

Iben
