CONGRATULATIONS CARD USING MOUNTING SQUARES

Hello, AJ here with a brand new shaped card to share!

This is my favorite time of year-all the new CHA products are being sneak peaked!  Today, I am using the new S4-375 Scalloped Labels One dies for my card shape, and the new S4-371 Les Pappilions for the butterfly.

Quick explanation on how I create my shaped cards- I always create my card base by folding over my cardstock, and allowing the fold to extend below the edge of the die.  Here you can see the card with the top portion missing, and the card front, on the left ready to be placed on top to cover the crease.  Adhere your Mounting Squares to the card base instead of the card front, to avoid having excess adhesive on the part the that extends beyond the card.

When Adding the butterfly to the circle die cut, I adhered it with 3D Foam Squares.  I placed one in the middle, and stacked two onto each side to create the lift on the wings.
