summer days-working with acrylic albums

Have you ever struggled with how to create with acrylic albums?

Hope you found that video helpful. Now here are a few stills from the video to focus on each page a little more closely. You will notice that the album is not complete…we have to CREATE these MEMORIES this summer! And I tell you this, we sure will look forward to taking pictures of swimming, boating, camping, car races, splash park….you get the idea.

you will notice in this album, anything that is paper on paper, I used my fave adhesive; MyStik Permanent Strips. This is an easy choice to make because the adhesive isn’t seen. I raised any items with the 3D foam squares.IMG_8575

Something to note, for myself, when I am lining up pages like this, I will use the E-Z Dots® Repositionable adhesive till I make my mind up. Then I do switch to permanent and stick it down forever. A few of these embellishments are stuck down with the repositionable because I haven’t put in the photos yet.

I am excited to finish this album after summer. I find that I often create projects before I take the pictures. It allows me to play with product, and get myself more prepared. This way I just take a few notes of what I want to take photos of this summer, I add them and voila! My project is done.

Hope you enjoyed this!

Love this! Thanks for the video, I’ve been reluctant to try an acrylic album for this exact reason. Now I need to get some of these fantastic adhesive sheets!
