Core’dination blog hop day 5: Layout with texture

Hello Everyone – Denmark is calling today !!

It’s day 5 of the fabulous blog hop with Core’dinations. You can check out the past days projects, and leave comments for a chance to win a fabulous prize.

I had this one very colorfull photo taken by my husband at a past CHA show in Anaheim. I wanted this layout to be funky and girly and for this project I found the Core Impression Cardstock by Core’dinations to be perfect.

I sanded the pre embossed cardstock with the Sand it Gadget – also from Core’dinations, and I love how the teal color was revealed under the black cardstock. It was like magic :-)

As you can see on the borders and on the close up – I used some Photo corners – Polypropylene in Black as embellishments on this page. I love how they also add texture to the overall project.

With my MyStik Permanent Strips Dispenser in hand, I put the entire layout together in no time.

All week we’re hanging out with Core’dinations! Comment here, on our blog, to be eligible to win a collection of Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock and a Sand It Set, along with some really great adhesives {if we do say ourselves!} We’ll draw a winner at the end of the week!!

Just leave a comment below! Then hop over to the Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock® blog!
