It’s my turn again, can’t quite get over how quickly my turn comes around!
Today I have a simple card for you with a bit of a twist.
I was quite delighted to receive my E-Z Dots® Permanent Tape Dispenser, it came in blue which is my favorite colour.
I wanted to try something different with it. I found it quite sticky so I decided to try it using embossing powder. It worked! so well, that I did it as a background for my card.
I ran random lines of the E-Z Dots® Permanent Adhesive Tape Dispenser over my background piece of paper, then sprinkled Ranger Fine Embossing Powder over the E-Z Dots® and shook off the excess powder. I then heated the powder with my heat gun and watch the magic happen.
I love the look I got, it didn’t matter that the powder did not adhered to the dots perfectly or that the tape did not run perfectly, it all adds to the look I wanted. The E-Z Dots® Permanent Adhesive Tape with the powder makes for great tire tracks and that makes it perfect for a male card!
Now I had my foundation it was a case of choosing some male papers. I used some of Kaisers new print Papers from their Attitude range. I cut a square of print matted it onto some black cardstock and added it to my card using 3D Foam Squares – Black, Variety Pack
Next it was time to add my favorite Scrapbook Adhesives® by 3L product, which I can’t get enough of and use all the time!
My Photo Corners – Classic Style, Black in each corner to finish the card off. I love the classic look they give every project I do and they are such good value, so you can use lots of them.
Well that’s it from me. As I said at the start – a simple project with a twist, make sure you have a go using the E-Z Dots® Permanent Adhesive Tape Dispenser and some of your favorite embossing power for quite a different look
Thanks
