The development of THE WORLD'S LARGEST SCRAPBOOK came easily to us because of how we have been supporting the mission of Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since our brand's inception, SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ has donated approximately $.04 of every product sold to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and provided in-kind adhesive products to Make-A-Wish® chapters across the country to help wish recipients document their remarkable stories. This year, SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ is proud to make an additional special gift of $50,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation at the Building Memories Gala!

As Make-A-Wish children preserved their wonderful memories, the pages grew into large numbers. That is how the idea of THE WORLD'S LARGEST SCRAPBOOK started. Tom Vasko, Vice President, North American Sales for SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™, realized that they could help the Make-A-Wish children participate in yet another monumental experience — creating THE WORLD'S LARGEST SCRAPBOOK, honoring the Make-A-Wish Foundation's incredible dedication to the children they serve.

“We wanted to be able to share the inspirational stories of the children who are touched by the Make-A-Wish Foundation with the scrapbooking community,” said Vasko. “The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a natural fit for the scrapbooking community, and the recipient children and their families deserve to preserve those memories forever.”

SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ had a goal to collect more than 1000 pages from the 69 Make-A-Wish chapters. The response was overwhelming with the final page count being 6,338 pages! SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ special gift of $50,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation was presented at the unveiling of THE WORLD'S LARGEST SCRAPBOOK on January 29, 2007, at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Show in Anaheim, California, at the Building Memories Gala. Of that donation, two Make-A-Wish chapters with the highest number of pages contributed (Nebraska with 1.835 and Maine with 962) were awarded $10,000 and $5,000.
