I started by punching holes in the top corners of the canvas panels then set eyelets in the holes.
I cut a couple strips of Girlie Grunge Gauze for each hole.
I thread it through the eyelets and tied a knot then added a Dodz Adhesive Dots Medium on the knots to hold the stick in place.
I placed the stick across the knots with adhesive then tied the Girlie Grunge Gauze around the stick.
I adhered each die cut denim image to the canvas panels using Girlie Grunge Art Medium as well as painted over the top.
For each flower I die cut 2 of the smaller roses on the Jumbo Rose die. I cut the panel in half and laid it over the smaller rose and leaf then die cut the denim material.
I painted the dark side of the die cut flowers with Girlie Grunge Art Medium, lifted each from the surface and used a cotton swab in the center to let the petals hang down while I dried them with a heat gun.
I painted the leaves with Girlie Grunge Art Medium, lifted them from the surface and dried them with a heat gun.
I purchased some fancy stamens that came with the little green flower base so I thread the stamen through the flowers, adhered the flower base with Girlie Grunge Art Medium and pressed the flower flat.
I curled the ends of the stamen with my Spellbinders® Tool ‘n One™ then adhered the flowers and leaves to the center of the 3rd canvas panel using my Dodz Adhesive Dots XL.
I added another Dodz Adhesive Dots XL under the leaves and then added a flower to the center (made with my Bitty Blossoms and Big Blossom dies from Spellbinders®).
This is a close up of the finished banner.
This is a close up of one of the bows that I made using my Lace Ribbon and Girlie Grunge Art Medium and I adhered the bow using my Dodz Adhesive Dots XL. You can also see the Girlie Grunge Gauze and Girlie Grunge Twine behind the bow that was used to tie the sticks at the tops of the panels together.
The close up below is of the stamped and die cut image. After the Girlie Grunge Art Medium dried I used the Watercolors that I made from my Pigment Powders to add a tiny bit of color and I used a heat gun to make sure the color was set. For instructions on how to create the watercolors, click DIY Watercolor with Pigment Powders Tutorial.
The close up below is of the flowers on the center panel.
