Christmas Poinsettia Shaker with Crafty Foam Tape!

I have a Christmas Poinsettia Shaker card to start off the morning! It’s Michele here to show how easy it is to sandwich all the layers using Crafty Foam Tape!

Front Card Panel for Christmas Poinsettia Card

For the front card panel, I die cut the leaves out of water color paper and blended the edges with ink a bit because I wanted a soft accent color. Then I added a piece of clear acetate behind it with the Dual Tip Glue Pen. Once that was dry, I placed Crafty Foam Tape around the leave design and filled it with my shaker elements.

Creating the Layers

For the other layers of the card front, I continued to alternate the sparkly silver paper and water color paper using Crafty Foam Tape for added dimension and interest. When it was all layered, the card panel was adhered to the pink card base with E-Z Squares®.

Creating the Poinsettia Flower

Die cut the poinsettia pieces out of water color paper and color in pink. Next, layer each piece with Dodz Adhesive Dots Medium. For the final touches, I adhered the poinsettia to the card and added a silk ribbon tied with silver twine. Everything was secured with the Dodz Adhesive Dots Medium.

So take out your Crafty Foam Tape and try these two ways – shaker feature and layering – when making your cards. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
