Hi, Judy<\/a> here today! I made a pretty home d\u00e9cor Choose to Shine Flower Panel. It’s a unique way to use 3D Foam Creative Sheets Small Black<\/a> with Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Pastel Color<\/a>s<\/a>. A perfect gift – add a small easel!<\/p>\n

Prep Canvas Panel<\/h2>\n

Cut a piece of aqua-dyed paper slightly bigger than a 4 x 6-inch canvas board. Lightly apply random areas of Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Distress Cracked Pistachio, and Distress Picket Fence. Stamp the grid with Lost Shadow Distress ink and continue to apply ink to achieve the desired color.<\/p>\n

Squeeze glue from Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a> across the canvas board and use a brush to spread it evenly over the face of the canvas board. Press prepared paper onto the canvas board, and rub well to attach, Use sandpaper to rub along the edges of the paper and remove any paper that extends beyond the canvas board. Very lightly rub Distress Black Soot ink along the edges with a foam applicator. Place under a heavy book or weight to dry.<\/p>\n

Make Foiled Flower<\/h2>\n

Cut a piece of 2.375 x 4.125 inches from black cardstock. Next, cut a piece of 3D Foam Creative Sheets Small Black<\/a> to 2.125 x 3.875 inches (note the width of a 3D Foam Sheet is 3.875 inches).<\/p>\n

Peel the white backing from a 3D Foam Creative Sheet<\/a> and fasten it to black cardstock.<\/p>\n

Draw a simple flower on text-weight paper. Trim paper to the width of cardstock with the 3D Foam and slightly longer. Use masking tape on the back of the flower to hold it in place. Use an embossing stylus or ballpoint pen to trace over the flower onto the foam to transfer the design. Remove the flower drawing.<\/p>\n

Carefully cut through the liner with a sharp craft knife along traced lines of flower.<\/p>\n

Peel the liner piece from the flower center, and place a piece of yellow foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Pastel Color<\/a>s<\/a> over the center. Remember to press the foil with the color side facing you, and remove it to reveal the color. <\/p>\n

Next, peel a flower petal, and apply the pink foil from the same foil set, repeating the foiling steps. Continue to apply pink foil to all flower petals. Lastly, apply the green foil to the stem and leaves.<\/p>\n

Finally, peel the liner away from the area around the flower, cover it with blue foil, press well, and lift away the foil.<\/p>\n

Attach the Flower to the Canvas Board<\/h2>\n

Cut a piece of white cardstock to 2.5 x 4.375 inches.<\/p>\n

From Crafty Foam Tape Black 108ft.<\/a>, cut 3 pieces to fit the back of the flower panel and place on the back. Peel the liners and attach the flower panel to the white cardstock.<\/p>\n

Cut three pieces of Premium Double-Sided Tape 1\/2in<\/a> and place them on the back of the flower panel. Retrieve the canvas board. Remove liners from the flower panel, center it on the canvas board, and press in place.<\/p>\n

Add Verse<\/h2>\n

Stamp verse on black cardstock with Versamark ink, cover with white embossing powder and heat emboss with heat tool. Cut to a narrow strip.<\/p>\n

Cut pieces of Crafty Foam Tape Black 108ft.<\/a> to fit the back of the verse. At the beginning edge, add two more layers of small pieces of Crafty Foam Tape Black 108ft.<\/a> Peel liners and fasten across the bottom of the flower, the edge extending beyond the flower panel is supported by extra layers of Crafty Foam Tape.<\/p>\n
