Hi, Lara<\/a> here! I wanted to try the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside<\/a> technique for my Foiled Boo Pumpkin Tag featuring the 3D Foam Circle Frames White<\/a> and the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Supplies Used for the Foiled Boo Pumpkin Tag<\/h2>\n

I gathered a black shipping tag, Versamark ink, white embossing powder, and twine from my stash. Then I grabbed 3D Foam Creative Sheets Mix<\/a>, 3D Foam Circle Frames White<\/a>, Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors<\/a>, and Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Celebrate Colors<\/a>. Let’s get started!<\/p>\n

Pumpkin Tag Design<\/h2>\n

Usually, I create pumpkins with oval shapes cut out of card stock but decide to use circles instead…gives it a whimsy look, right? So I grabbed the 3D Foam Circle Frames White<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesives on the Outside with 3D Foam Circles<\/h2>\n

To start, I used two circles and cut the smaller one in half. Remove the liners and place the orange foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors<\/a> to my Boo Pumpkin tag. Make sure the color side is facing you before applying the foil to the circles. Gently rub to transfer the color to the circles.<\/p>\n

I didn’t apply the foil perfectly as I wanted to match the speckled stamped BOO left by the white embossing powder. The word BOO was stamped with Versamark ink and used white embossing powder for a little spooky effect.<\/p>\n

\"Foiled<\/figure>\n

To create the stem I just cut a piece from the 3D Foam Creative Sheets<\/a> and slightly rolled the end to give it more dimension. The green foil is from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Celebrate Colors<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Add some jute twine and you have a great slightly modern-looking pumpkin tag.<\/p>\n

I spend a lot of time in my home studio with the air conditioning during the hot Texas summers. I am an artist, graphic designer, hand letterer (don\u2019t know if I would consider myself an artist in this area yet) illustrator, stamper and paper crafter. Oh, and I forgot I love to grow plants and flowers, especially Gardenias and David Austin roses. My design style is a mix of traditional and eclectic because I was a stamper before I was a scrapbooker and a tole painter before that but I love use any new mixed media product which is a contradiction, sort of like me. I have been on several design teams over the years and have had many of my designs featured in magazines, books, websites\/blogs, tradeshows and on TV.
