Hi, Lara<\/a> here today! Featuring 3D Foam Stars<\/a> and Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors<\/a>, I created this quick and easy Stars and Joy Card using the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside<\/a> technique. The holiday season in Texas can be either cold or warm. Being born in Hawaii, I love green tropical Christmases. But growing up in Colorado, Utah, and Idaho, the freshly fallen snow was magical. White Christmases are beautiful but I would rather be warm! HA! <\/p>\n

\"Stars<\/figure>\n

Create the Stars and Joy Card Layers<\/h2>\n

Make a 4.5 x 5″ card base with dark red cardstock. For the card panel, cut a piece of the green striped patterned paper about 1\/2″ smaller than the base. Adhere them together with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is Joy Sentiment<\/h2>\n

The sentiment is printed on vellum so it is translucent. For it to stand out, I secure a piece of white cardstock with E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Fine Adhesive Dispenser<\/a>. This adhesive is perfect for vellum – once dried, it disappears! Next, fussy cut around it and attach it to the card front with the 3D Foam Squares White Regular<\/a> for added dimension.<\/p>\n

Lastly, I added a bow below the sentiment for texture and secured it with 3D Foam Square Micro White.<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with 3D Foam Stars<\/h2>\n

To finish embellishing the card front, I accent it with some 3D Foam Stars<\/a>. Using the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside technique, I applied gold foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors<\/a> set. Simply remove the top liners, place the foil color facing you over the exposed adhesive and gently rub to transfer the color. Remove and reveal…it’s that easy! No tools are needed. Here is a close-up of the stars. I like the crackled and distressed vibe they have!<\/p>\n
