Hi everyone, Yvonne<\/a> here with a Warm Cozy Wintertime Card. With the cold outside, what’s better than to warm up in a warm sweater with hot cocoa and a cinnamon roll\u2026.yum! I used the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside<\/a> technique for my background. I would love to share how I made the card\u2026.wanna join me?<\/p>\n

\"Warm<\/figure>\n

Wintertime Card Panel<\/h2>\n

Create an embossed knit pattern by using an embossing folder. Simply place white paper in the embossing folder and run it through a die-cutting and embossing machine.<\/p>\n

\"Warm<\/figure>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with Adhesive Sheet<\/h2>\n

To create a special effect on the panel of the Wintertime Card, I used the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside<\/a> technique to make your adhesive shine. Remove the yellow liner of an Adhesive Sheet 4×6 inch<\/a> and place the sticky side onto the embossed pattern. Gently slide over the adhesive sheet so only the raised embossed areas are covered.<\/p>\n

Next, sprinkle soft blue glittery embossing powder over the sticky embossed areas and tap off the excess. Melt the powder with a heat tool.<\/p>\n

Secure onto a Card Base<\/h2>\n

Trim the embossed and glittery panel to a rectangular shape and mat it to a soft blue card panel. Lastly, adhere to a white card base. All layers were secured with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Embellishing the Card<\/h2>\n

Center the window element with the Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> and tuck the frame under the window’s upper right corner. Using a combination of thin foam squares and 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>, layer the other elements to the card front. This gives the design great interest and dimension! <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Finishing Touches for the Wintertime Card<\/h2>\n

To finish, I use a Dymo label maker to create sentiment words and mat them on soft blue cardstock. With the 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> and Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>, secure them on the card front.<\/p>\n
