Stamp the Shimmering Birthday Card Focal Point<\/h2>\n

Stamp the adorable pug image with a stamp positioner and black ink. Who wouldn’t want to hug that cuteness?! Then carefully line up your sentiment below the dog and stamp in VersaFine ink for a clear, crisp impression.<\/p>\n

Create the Platform<\/h2>\n

Using a T-Square, lightly sketch lines at the base of your pug above the sentiment. This will tell us where to cut when we begin our fussy cutting. You want the lines just at the base of the dog image out to each edge. Using your favorite detailing scissors, fussy cut around the image and cut just below the pencil line. If the line shows, simply erase it.<\/p>\n

Color your image with alcohol markers to complete your image. Now we are ready to get to the fun Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside technique!<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with 3D Foam Circles<\/h2>\n

On a second card panel using the stamped pug as a guide, randomly place the smaller 3D Foam Circles White<\/a> around the panel. Designer’s Tip:<\/strong> I find tweezers are easier to pick up and help determine the placements of those little guys.<\/p>\n

Use two different foil colors that fit the card design. I used the silver and blue colors from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Celebrate Colors<\/a> pack. Peel off some of the 3D Foam Circles White Mix<\/a>, and place the foil over the circle. Rub or tap the foil (color side facing you) to transfer the color to it. Peel off to reveal the sparkle! Repeat until you’ve covered all the dots.<\/p>\n

Assemble the Shimmering Birthday Hugs Card<\/h2>\n

After the foiling step, it’s time to give your stamped image a bit of pop! Line the back with Crafty Foam Tape White 54ft<\/a>. This will provide a 1\/16-inch lift, offering a dimensional look to the entire card! Just look at how he comes to life and is ready for a hug!<\/p>\n

To complete the card, mat the embellished panel to a shimmering blue cardstock with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Next, adhere the matted panel to a card base using the same adhesive or you can use the Crafty Power Tape Polybag 81ft<\/a>.<\/p>\n
