Hi, Lar<\/a>a<\/a> here, and today I have a great idea to put a small(?) dent in your paper stash. Work ahead to document your Valentine’s event with a Love Grid Valentine’s Page. Although some spacings aren’t perfect, I love how this page turned out. Most people don’t notice but I do…the struggles of a perfectionist. LOL!<\/p>\n

Love Grid Design<\/h2>\n

Using a 2-inch square punch, I punched out a whole bunch of squares from multiple patterned papers. Next, I laid out the squares in a grid pattern on a 12 x 12-inch red cardstock. After determining my desired look, I adhere them with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Final Touches<\/h2>\n

Grab a few die-cut shapes that would be perfect with the theme, in this case, I chose a lacey doily and some delicate floral motifs. I adhered them with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Add the sentiment strip using 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>. I drew lines on white cardstock for a photo placeholder and journal spot. I used the Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a> to adhere the gold half pearls.<\/p>\n

Here are the adhesives used to assemble the Love Grid Valentine’s Page. Using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser<\/a> was a nice surprise, I haven’t used it before and it rolls so nicely!<\/p>\n

I spend a lot of time in my home studio with the air conditioning during the hot Texas summers. I am an artist, graphic designer, hand letterer (don\u2019t know if I would consider myself an artist in this area yet) illustrator, stamper and paper crafter. Oh, and I forgot I love to grow plants and flowers, especially Gardenias and David Austin roses. My design style is a mix of traditional and eclectic because I was a stamper before I was a scrapbooker and a tole painter before that but I love use any new mixed media product which is a contradiction, sort of like me. I have been on several design teams over the years and have had many of my designs featured in magazines, books, websites\/blogs, tradeshows and on TV.
