A creative friend made this super fun fold card so I wanted to give it a try. The Thinking of You Double Z-Fold Card is perfect to send to a special friend for a pick me up. Hi, Margie<\/a> here today! Let me show you how.<\/p>\n

Create the Double Z-Fold Card Base<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On a piece of 11 x 4.25 in. patterned paper, score on the long side up (11 in.) at 2.75 and 5.5 in. Burnish the score lines. Fold in half at 5.5 in. and fold in quarter at 2.75 in. in the opposite direction to form a Z shape.<\/p>\n

Cut a piece of 11 x 3 in. patterned paper and repeat the score and fold step. Flip the 11 x 3 in. patterned paper over to the B-side pattern. Make sure the long scored piece is on the left side as pictured above. Set them aside.<\/p>\n

Mat Pieces<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With a piece of soft blue cardstock, cut one piece at 5.5 x 2.5 in. and one piece at 2.75 x 2.5 in. Using a piece of white cardstock, cut one piece at 5.25 x 2.25 and one piece at 2.5 x 2.25. Emboss the 5.25 x 2.25 in. white cardstock.<\/p>\n

Embellish the Thinking of You Z-Fold Patterned Paper Strip<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Adhere the embossed panel to the 5.5 x 2.5 in. soft blue panel with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Dispenser<\/a>. Next, add on all four corners a Creative Photo Corner Silver<\/a> and adhere the panel to the 11 x 3 in. patterned paper strip with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Stamp and cut a sentiment strip on a soft blue cardstock. Pop up the sentiment on the embossed panel with 3D Foam Strips<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

At one end of the strip, add a small heart from the 3D Foam Hearts<\/a> and remove the top liner. Cut a piece of blue foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Pastel Colors<\/a> and wrinkle the piece. Place it on top of the heart (color side facing you). Gently rub the foil to transfer the distressed color to the heart. Cut a piece of green foil from the same set and place over the distressed foil heart. Peel off the foil to reveal a shiny marbled heart accent!<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Embellish the Middle Section<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On the middle section of the patterned paper strip, place a small, medium and largest heart from the 3D Foam Hearts<\/a> and remove the top liners. Repeat the foiling steps (solid + distressed type).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Finish Off the Last Section<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Stamp a sentiment in the center of the 2.5 x 2.25 white cardstock and adhere to the 2.75 x 2.5 in. soft blue cardstock with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Dispenser<\/a>. Add on all four corners a Creative Photo Corner Silver<\/a>. Secure the panel to the patterned paper strip with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Assemble the Card<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Apply the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Dispenser<\/a> on the back of each end of the patterned paper strip and attach to the card base. Make sure to fold up the strip and apply the adhesive on each end. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
