Hi, everyone! Don’t you just love the look of foil on cards and scrapbook pages? Teri<\/a> here and I am going to show you today these Take Care Card Duo. These cards show you how to combine Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Celebrate Colors<\/a>, Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors<\/a>, Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Pastel Colors<\/a>, and Crafty Foam Tape 54ft.<\/a> with embossing folders for a really fun, unique foiled (and textured) look!<\/p>\n

Take Care Card Duo Background Design<\/h2>\n

Apply strips of Crafty Foam Tape 54ft.<\/a> across several white cardstock panels. Trim any excess tape over the sides of the panels. Next, place your panels in embossing folders and run them through your die-cutting machine.<\/p>\n

Designer’s Tip:<\/strong> You might want to try this out before actually making a project. Pick a variety of embossing folders to see what takes to the foam tape best. Also, a good time to adjust your machine’s plate sandwich to ensure a good pass-through!<\/p>\n

After your panels are embossed, remove the release paper from one foam tape strip. Apply a piece of color foil (your choice) from Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Celebrate Colors<\/a>, Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors<\/a> or Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Pastel Colors<\/a> on top of the exposed adhesive (color side facing you). Gently rub to transfer the color. Refoil in missed areas. Repeat this foiling process until each strip is covered.<\/p>\n

Turn Your Panels Into Cards<\/h2>\n

First, die-cut sentiments with white cardstock, and its outline in vellum. Adhere them together with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Dispenser<\/a>. Pop up the sentiment with Crafty Foam Tape White 54ft<\/a> and place them on the panels.<\/p>\n

Add two gold corners from the Creative Photo Corners Mix Pack<\/a> to opposite corners on each panel. Make sure they are nice and secure. Apply the E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Dispenser<\/a> to white cardstock card bases and secure the embossed panels on top.<\/p>\n

Finish your cards by adding a few small embellishments to them. Gems, sequins, and pearls all work well for this.<\/p>\n
