{"id":10254,"date":"2013-05-26T06:00:44","date_gmt":"2013-05-26T11:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/?p=10254"},"modified":"2019-07-19T11:45:21","modified_gmt":"2019-07-19T16:45:21","slug":"happy-graduation-card","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2013\/05\/26\/happy-graduation-card\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Graduation Card"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello there! &nbsp;Latisha here with you today. &nbsp;How is it the end of another school year already? &nbsp;Many of you will be attending High School\/College Graduations and Graduation Parties. &nbsp;Getting a gift for a Graduate is always easy, cash or a gift card. &nbsp;So today, I am going to share a graduation card with a little pocket on the inside to place a gift card or cash.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10255\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard1-288x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"288\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard1-288x300.jpg 288w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard1.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 288px) 100vw, 288px\" \/><\/a>To create this card, you will need card stock cut down to 3 3\/4 inches by 10 1\/2 inches. &nbsp;Using a scoring tool, score at 1 1\/2 inches and 6 inches.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10256\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard2-300x100.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"100\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard2-300x100.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard2-1024x341.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>To adhere the inside flap down, I used some Crafty Power Tape, on both sides (leaving a space in the center for a gift card or cash). &nbsp;The pattern paper was adhered to the inside and front of the card using the E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refillable. &nbsp;To adhere my yellow star buttons down, I cut a 3D Foam Squares Small in half and placed them on the back of the stars.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10257\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard3-300x172.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"172\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard3-300x172.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard3.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Here is an inside look at the card. &nbsp;Pattern paper is from Simple Stories, stamps are from Lawn Fawn, cardstock is from American Crafts and the markers used to color in the year are Copics.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10255\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard1-288x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"288\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard1-288x300.jpg 288w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3L-LY-2013gradcard1.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 288px) 100vw, 288px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"border-radius: 2px;
