Hello scrappy friends! Tracy<\/a><\/strong> here, and today I have a fun Layered Earthy Layout to share. Here are all of the details on how I created it.<\/p>\n

Layered Earthy Layout Design Idea<\/h2>\n

Have you ever had a collection that you loved SO MUCH that you cling to each little bit of it that you have left? This is a layout that I created using a collection like that. I had this one full patterned paper background sheet and then just scraps and a lot of embellishments that I hadn’t used. <\/p>\n

My first step for this layered earthy layout is to collect the larger background pieces. I cut the blue patterned paper to fit in the corner of the background.<\/p>\n

The Starting Point<\/h2>\n

Using the blue patterned paper as a guide at this point, I added some cardstock stickers around it and ephemera using the Thin 3D Foam Squares Black Mix<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Adding Elements for the WoW Factor<\/h2>\n

Next I added E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Refillable Dispenser<\/a> around the inside edges of the blue patterned paper and I adhered more floral ephemera around that border of the Layered Earthy Layout.<\/p>\n

Now it’s time to adhere that piece to the background using Crafty Foam Tape Black<\/a>. Now you can see the definition between layers of this embellishment border. <\/p>\n

Adding the Photo<\/h2>\n

Attach the photo to the white cardstock mat using Creative Photo Corners Kraft<\/a>. Add the matted photo to the layout using Crafty Foam Tape Black<\/a>. Then add some ephemera pieces around the matted photo, also using Crafty Foam Tape Black<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Creating a Cluster<\/h2>\n

I decided to add a few embellishments to the top left-hand corner of the layout and used Crafty Foam Tape Black<\/a> to add the “Go See Do” sticker. Add a burlap string bow to each of the tags on this layered earthy layout.<\/p>\n

The final touches for this Layered Earthy Layout are just a few more sticker embellishments around the layout.<\/p>\n
