Hi everyone, Yvonne<\/a> here with a Cute Kitten Card. I would love to show you how much fun it is to make your own background using the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside<\/a> technique!<\/p>\n

Cute Kitten Card Panels<\/h2>\n

Stamp a cat image on white cardstock with a black ink pad. Color the image with coloring pencils and die-cut a rectangle around the image. Mat a die-cut and embossed pink card panel. Adhere the layers using 3D Foam Squares White Regular Size<\/a> for dimension and interest.<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside for a Striped Background<\/h2>\n

To create the striped pattern on this layer of the Cute Kitten Card, I use the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside<\/a> technique. It brings the adhesive from under layers to the top to make them become part of the design element. I have placed horizontal lines on a piece of white cardstock panel using Crafty Power Tape 81ft<\/a>. Remove the liners and cover the exposed adhesive with gold glitter. Rub the glitter to secure into the adhesive and tap off any excess.<\/p>\n

Assemble the Card Base<\/h2>\n

Adhere the layered panel on the glittered striped background with 3D Foam Squares White Regular Size<\/a>. Next, secure it on a pink card base using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Finishing Touch of the Photo Corners<\/h2>\n

Lastly, I added a Creative Photo Corners Gold<\/a> on each of the corners of the top panel – just a little extra to the card.<\/p>\n
