Hi, everyone! Summer’s not quite over yet! Teri<\/a> here to help you stretch the season out a little longer by making this You Brighten My Day Card. Yep, I’ll show you how to make a card with a great big sun on it!<\/p>\n

Brighten My Day Card Panel<\/h2>\n

Layer a piece of yellow patterned paper panel onto a card base with the E-Z Squares\u00ae Dispenser<\/a>. If you don’t have a piece of patterned paper, make your own with inks or ink sprays like I did.<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with 3D Foam Circle Frames and 3D Foam Strips<\/h2>\n

Die-cut a rectangle postage edge shape in white cardstock. Now the fun – let’s build the focal point, the sun! Take several 3D Foam Circle Frames<\/a> to make one big circle…I used six circles. Next, take several 3D Foam Strips<\/a> and cut them into small pieces. Place them on your postage rectangle to look like sun rays.<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with white flock. How? Take off the top liner of all 3D Foam Circle Frames<\/a> circles and 3D Foam Strips<\/a> pieces. Cover them with flock, press to secure into the adhesive, and tap off the excess. Designer’s Note:<\/strong> For a sparkling option, use one of our foils like the pretty Metallic Transfer Foil in Pastel Colors<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trim the rectangle to fit onto your card front and use 3D Foam Strips Large White<\/a> to mount it onto your card.<\/p>\n

Embellish the Sun<\/h2>\n

Let’s give your sunshine some personality by adding a mouth, a pair of wiggle eyes, and a sweet yellow bow to it. I used the Adhesive Dots Small<\/a> to secure all.<\/p>\n

Complete the Card with a Sentiment and Embellishments<\/h2>\n

Stamp a sentiment on white cardstock and place it on your card with the E-Z Squares\u00ae Dispenser<\/a>. Complete your card by adding a few sequins or gems to it with the Adhesive Dots Small<\/a>.<\/p>\n
