Franken Cute Franken Cake<\/h2>\n

First, how adorable is this Frankenstein cake I picked up for a Halloween get-together from a wonderful bakery in Milwaukee? Not only was he spooky-cute, but he was also absolutely delicious<\/em>! I knew I had to document him right away.<\/p>\n

Building the Layout with an Older Collection<\/h2>\n

For this layout, I dug deep into my stash and used an older Doodlebug Design Halloween collection like over 10 years old! I’m proud to be using what I have, and this collection was just too perfect to pass up.<\/p>\n

A Franken Cute Title<\/h2>\n

With the perfect cut file on hand: “Oh Franken Cute” how can I not use it to showcase the cake. So much fun backing the cut file, especially turning the “Franken” into a little Frankenstein head with green polka dot paper and black grid paper cut with a grass border punch. LOVE!<\/p>\n

Pop up the title with my trusty Crafty Foam Tape White 13ft.<\/a><\/strong> – a must for adding just the right amount of hold and dimension.<\/p>\n

\"Oh<\/figure>\n<\/p>\n

I created a whole scene with a mad scientist in his lab, complete with bubbling potions, jars, and of course\u2014Frank himself (plus a little snake friend on the side!). I used my handy 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> to add dimension to the lab, the jars, the scientist, and our beloved Frank. It really brought the whole scene to life!<\/p>\n
