Hey everybody – happy Monday! Do you decorate or craft for Halloween? I haven’t always, but it seems like each year I get more Halloween-y, lol! Leslie<\/a> here with you today sharing a Halloween fun fold that I think you’ll love. This one is called a faux side step card and it’s super easy, so let’s get started!<\/p>\n

\"Hey<\/figure>\n

Card Base & Layers<\/h2>\n

BLACK CARDSTOCK:
Card base: 5-1\/2″ x 8″, scored at 3″, 6″ and 7″.
Faux step panel: 3″ x 8-1\/2″, scored at 4-1\/4″.<\/p>\n

PATTERNED PAPER:
Background: 2-7\/8″ x 5-3\/8″. Cut TWO this size – one for the front and one for the back.
Strip at bottom: 7\/8″ x 5-3\/8″.
Step panel: 2-7\/8″ x 4-1\/8″.<\/p>\n

WHITE CARDSTOCK:
Back sentiment panel: 2-3\/4″ x 5-1\/4″.<\/p>\n

Adhere Layers<\/h2>\n

Using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>, adhere the patterned paper pieces. The background panel goes on the card base. Similarly, the strip goes across the bottom of the card base. Additionally, the step panel goes on the faux step panel. Also, adhere the white back sentiment panel to the other background panel and an embellishing strip if you choose. I adhered one across the bottom of the panel. <\/p>\n

Assemble Halloween Fun Fold<\/h2>\n

Once again, using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>, apply adhesive to the back side of the faux panel. Only apply the adhesive to the bottom area and press into place. <\/p>\n

Turn the card base around and adhere the back side of the faux panel to the card base. Now adhere the back sentiment panel. <\/p>\n

Die Cuts & Sentiments<\/h2>\n

Use both 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> and Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> to adhere the die cuts. Cluster the images on the front, popping some up just a bit higher than others. Use the Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a> to adhere a sentiment on the front and one on the back. <\/p>\n

Complete Halloween Fun Fold<\/h2>\n

The final step is adding a few brown gemstones, adding a little extra adhesion by using the Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a>. <\/p>\n
