Hi, friends! Got a pile of paper scraps? Teri<\/a> here to show you a super cute Life is Good (Tweet) Card that uses paper scraps and 3D Foam Frames<\/a> together!<\/p>\n

Life is Good (Tweet) Card Design with Paper Scraps<\/h2>\n

Start by taking a piece of plain cardstock and randomly adhering paper scraps to it with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Make sure you completely cover the back of your scraps with adhesive before placing them down, just to make sure nothing will come off when you get to the next step. Designer’s Tip:<\/strong> Use a bone folder to burnish and secure your papers down.<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with 3D Foam Frames<\/h2>\n

Take one of the large frames and a smaller frame from the 3D Foam Frames<\/a> and place them on your scrap paper. Use your scissors to trim off the excess from the frames.<\/p>\n

Choose a different foil color for each frame. I used the gold and bronze foil sheets from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors<\/a>. Remove the top liner and place the foil (color side facing you) over the exposed adhesive. Rub the foil to transfer the color. Peel to remove and reveal the shine! Reapply foil in missed areas. Repeat foiling step with another foil color to the other frame.<\/p>\n

Add the Frames to the Card Panel<\/h2>\n

Adhere patterned paper onto a cardstock panel and add border strips of patterned paper and cardstock to the top and bottom of the card with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Add your foiled frames to the panel with a combination of the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a> (large frame) and 3D Foam Strips<\/a> (small frame). Using the foam strips, you can layer the smaller frame together with the larger. Designer’s Tip:<\/strong> I recommend cutting up the strips and using some of them together so your frame is more stable. Decorate your frames with stickers or die-cuts.<\/p>\n

Add a Sentiment<\/h2>\n

Add a sentiment…I used stickers but you could easily create a sentiment by taking a strip of cardstock and handwriting or stamping a phrase. <\/p>\n

Foiling on the Life is Good (Tweet) Card Front<\/h2>\n

Finish by randomly placing Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a> and foil with Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets in Nature Colors<\/a> on the card front with the same foiling sets. Designer’s Tip:<\/strong> Rub the foil onto each dot until it easily lifts up off the dot. If it does not lift up easily, just keep rubbing until it does.<\/p>\n
