Happy Fall Y’all! I had some fall-themed collection on my desk so I decided to use them and our 3D Foam Leaves<\/a> to create a Leaf Banner Thank You Card. Hi, Margie<\/a> here today to show you how I created some interest to foiling without any special tools!<\/p>\n

Leaf Banner Card Panel Layers<\/h2>\n

For an A2-size (5.5 x 4.25″) standard white cardstock card base, I cut a 4 7\/8 x 2-inch yellow patterned strip of paper. The larger patterned paper was 4 7\/8 x 3-inch.<\/p>\n

The larger patterned piece, I paper torn the bottom edge before adhering together with the yellow paper to form a 4 7\/8 x 3-inch panel.\u00a0I used the E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a> to secure the layers. The panel was popped up with Crafty Foam Tape Black 108ft.<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Designer’s Tip:<\/strong> Use the rounded end of a bone folder to burnish the adhesive to secure the layers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Leaf Banner Details<\/h2>\n

I tucked the twine behind the foam tape and secure the banner front with Adhesive Lines<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Now to create the foiled leaves with the combination of the 3D Foam Leaves<\/a> and Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors<\/a>. View the 3D Foam Leaves Foiling Technique video below to see how I created a two color leaf. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
