Hi everyone, Yvonne<\/a> here Today I would like to share how I made this fun Spring Chicken Birthday Card with its simple layering. It’s also perfect for a beginner card maker. It’s super quick to make, so if you need a last minute card, this is might be a great fit! Let’s get started!<\/p>\n

Spring Birthday Card Base<\/h2>\n

Trim a piece of patterned paper to a rectangular size for the top card panel. Mat it to a yellow card penal and then to a white card base with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Embellish the Card Front<\/h2>\n

For the pieces to make the focal point, I fussy cut elements from patterned papers like a tag and a happy birthday sentiment banner. Center and then give the tag a slight angle onto the card front. To make it interesting, I popped it up with 3D Foam Strips LG in White<\/a>. Mat the Happy Birthday banner with yellow cardstock strip using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Then trim it slightly larger than the banner.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Lastly, add an element of fun heart row to the tag using 3D Foam Squares White Small<\/a> for dimension. And voil\u00e1, your Spring Chicken Birthday Card is ready! Wishing you happy crafting!<\/p>\n
