{"id":10616,"date":"2013-07-22T06:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-07-22T11:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/?p=10616"},"modified":"2017-07-19T14:02:21","modified_gmt":"2017-07-19T19:02:21","slug":"birthday-decoration-number-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/22\/birthday-decoration-number-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Birthday Decoration &#8211; Number 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome, it&#8217;s Stephanie here today with a Birthday Decoration for a young little girl.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/07\/decoration_4_Stephanie_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10619\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/07\/decoration_4_Stephanie_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I will show you how I made a birthday decoration for my daughter by using a lot of cute little embellishments and different supplies from Scrapbook Adhesives.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/07\/decoration_4_Stephanie_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10620\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/07\/decoration_4_Stephanie_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"333\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/decoration_4_Stephanie_2.jpg 333w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/decoration_4_Stephanie_2-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 333px) 100vw, 333px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n1 &#8211; This is my base, a number 4 I painted with white Gesso.<\/p>\n<p>2 &#8211; I used Chalk Edgers from Ingvild Bolme to color it in a ombre look of red\/rosa.<\/p>\n<p>3 &#8211; Then I used a stencil and Modelling Paste to create little roses.<\/p>\n<p>4 &#8211; Next step was to varnish the surface with acrylic varnish.<\/p>\n<p>5 &#8211; Applying the photo by using the Regular Size White 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3l.<\/p>\n<p>6 &#8211; I added the photo an some pearl sticker. For the little crown I also used the 3D Foam Squares<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/07\/decoration_4_Stephanie_3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10621\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2013\/07\/decoration_4_Stephanie_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"333\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/decoration_4_Stephanie_3.jpg 333w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/decoration_4_Stephanie_3-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 333px) 100vw, 333px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n7 &#8211; To fix the white roses ribbon I used the MyStik Permanent Strips Dispenser<\/p>\n<p>8 &#8211; Each circle and button I adhered with the 3D Foam Squares Small White<\/p>\n<p>9 &#8211; More fun with Foils and 3D Foam Hearts<\/p>\n<p>10 &#8211; I combined a butterfly and a ballerina by using the Dodz Adhesive Dots Small<\/p>\n<p>11 &#8211; I adhered them on the number with the 3D Foam Squares Small White<\/p>\n<p>12 &#8211; For the glitter on the ballet skirt I applied some adhesives with the E-Z Dots Permanent refillable dispenser and filled it off with pink glitter.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see I also used some sticker and more pearls and other sweet things like little girls like it. She\u2019s married to the best man ever, and they have two beautiful little girls. Since putting her career as a psychologist in the usability field when her second daughter was born, she\u2019s been able to take more time to be creative. What just began as a hobby has developed into a passion. She recently launched her first six stamp collections for a Swiss stamp company, with more coming! \u201cI love to draw and if some of my drawings were made into stamps, which can delight other scrapbooking fans, card maker or mixed media artists then that would be the greatest thing for me.\u201d Stephanie is a scrapbooker with a great touch of mixed media and an art journaler with a passion to draw. \u201cI still like to take memorable photos, place it in scene and added it to an album but more and more I am doing more artistic projects on canvas without photos or only with drawings. It\u2019s just another way to put my innermost outwards and to be more creative.\u201d Coffee in the morning, tea in the evening and plenty of chocolate fuel her creativity! While she usually creates by herself - she\u2019s usually pressed for time \u2013 Stephanie enjoys connecting with other paper and paint addicted people on social media. Stephanie has been published and designed for several teams, and enjoys teaching too! When asked about her favorite adhesive, she said \u201cThe products from Adhesives are unique and of high quality. She recently launched her first six stamp collections for a Swiss stamp company, with more coming! \u201cI love to draw and if some of my drawings were made into stamps, which can delight other scrapbooking fans, card maker or mixed media artists then that would be the greatest thing for me.\u201d Stephanie is a scrapbooker with a great touch of mixed media and an art journaler with a passion to draw. \u201cI still like to take memorable photos, place it in scene and added it to an album but more and more I am doing more artistic projects on canvas without photos or only with drawings. It\u2019s just another way to put my innermost outwards and to be more creative.\u201d Coffee in the morning, tea in the evening and plenty of chocolate fuel her creativity! While she usually creates by herself - she\u2019s usually pressed for time \u2013 Stephanie enjoys connecting with other paper and paint addicted people on social media. Stephanie has been published and designed for several teams, and enjoys teaching too! When asked about her favorite adhesive, she said \u201cThe products from Adhesives are unique and of high quality. It is not only simple adhesive products, but their diversity inspires me and lets me again make different kinds of projects. I'm super happy with them and do not want to miss.
