Hi, Ali<\/a> (FunAdventuresWithAli) here today! Three cheers for my Red, White and Blue Card! How fun is this fourth of July card?! I created featuring the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside technique with Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets in Holographic Colors<\/a> and 3D Foam Stars<\/a>. The patterned papers from the adorable Doodlebug Fourth of July collection is perfect! We celebrate with my parents by having a cookout, enjoying drinks, relaxing together, and ending the day with fireworks. It\u2019s one of my favorite traditions, so I wanted to make a special card just for them.<\/p>\n

Red, White and Blue Card Front<\/h2>\n

For this card, I started with two 6 x 6″ patterned papers that reminded me of the American flag. I layered them onto a white cardstock card base using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Dispenser<\/a>. For the sentiment, I used a sticker that I remove the stickiness with the powder tool and popped it up with the Crafty Foam Tape White 108ft<\/a>. Center it on the card front.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with 3D Foam Stars<\/h2>\n

My favorite part of this project is definitely the stars \u2014 because nothing says Fourth of July like sparkling stars and fireworks! I used Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets in Celebrate Colors along with 3D Foam Stars<\/a> to create custom embellishments that perfectly matched the card.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Place the 3D Foam Stars<\/a> where you want them on the card.<\/li>\n
  2. Remove the top liner from one star.<\/li>\n
  3. Lay a piece of Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets in Celebrate Colors<\/a> over it (color side facing you).<\/li>\n
  4. Gently rub the foil to transfer the color, then peel it away to reveal the shine.<\/li>\n
  5. Repeat with other colors like blue, gold, and silver for a fun fireworks-inspired look.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Transferring the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets in Celebrate Colors<\/a> onto the stars is so satisfying! In less than a minute, I had gorgeous shiny embellishments that look like little firecrackers bursting right off the card.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

    The Inside of the Card<\/h2>\n

    I just wanted to add something fun on the inside of the card too!<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
