Hello! Kimberly here again sharing how to create these gorgeous metallic-looking fall leaves. Something about gold and copper just makes me think fall and Thanksgiving. I can imagine a lot of possibilities with these beautiful leaves created with 3D Foam Leaves!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I started by using a piece of 12×12 paper for my card base. Then I adhered my other patterned paper layers with my E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable adhesive runner. Its my go-to basic adhesive.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

My sentiment was trimmed from a piece of patterned paper. To give my card some dimension, I used 3D Foam Squares White Regular. I did not adhere the panel to my card yet though, because I wanted to be sure that the leaves I was about to adhere would work with it.<\/p>\n

Tip:<\/strong> Leave the backing on your 3D Foam products until you are ready to adhere them to your project. It makes changing their placement easy until the design is exactly as you want.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then I grabbed these gorgeous Designer Foils from Clearsnap. These are SO cool. They come in many colors and add amazing shine and color! And I knew they would make the 3D Foam Leaves amazing!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I started by placing my leaves on the project, leaving the top backing in place.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then I removed the backing from one leaf and removed one of the Designer Foil sheets from its packaging. I gently placed a foil sheet over the top of the leaf and lifted up. On the right, you can see the foil on the leaf. It didn’t cover the entire surface, and that is ok, because that is what I wanted.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Over the same leaf, I placed a sheet of copper foil and lifted. The copper foil filled in all the empty white spots! You can see on the right how beautiful the effect is!<\/p>\n

Tip: If you continue to have white spots showing, keep placing the foil over the top. You can gently press the foils down as well.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And there they are, all the beautiful leaves!<\/p>\n
