Hello Everyone!<\/p>\n

It’s Kelly here today to share a Christmas card with you. \u00a0I don’t know where you live, but in northern Canada right now, we already have lots of that white stuff *snow*, and that is why I was inspired to create this card.<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-celebrate-00\"<\/a>Winter might not be my favourite season, but I do love creating Christmas cards and layouts! Here are the supplies I used:<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-Celebrate-1\"<\/a>To begin, I dry embossed plain white card stock with a Spellbinders<\/a> wood grain embossing folder.<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-celebrate-3\"<\/a>Using my E-Z Runner\u2122 Permanent Dots<\/a> adhesive, I attached this white embossed piece to my card base.<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-celebrate<\/a>To create the winter scene, I adhered a 3D Foam Frame<\/a> to a piece of patterned paper and then heat embossed it with Stampendous Shabby Blue Embossing Enamel.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-celebrate-8\"<\/a><\/p>\n

After a few moments of cooling off, I cut out the Frame and prepared to design my winter scene.<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-celebrate-9\"<\/a><\/p>\n

First I made the snowy hills by cutting 3 wavy strips of white card stock and adhering them to the inside bottom edge of the frame.<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-celebrate-11\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-celebrate-12\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then I added the other Designer Shapes: \u00a03D Foam Trees<\/a> and one 3D Foam Star<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-celebrate-13\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I dumped white glitter onto the trees and silver glitter onto the star, rubbing in, then brushing off excess.<\/p>\n

\"KellyKLapstein-celebrate-14\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Crafty Power Tape<\/a> helped attach my ribbon securely, and I placed one Adhesive Dots Medium behind the knot of the bow.<\/p>\n

Finally, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment “Celebrate” and adhered it with a strip of Crafty Foam Tape<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I \u00a0just love the dimension the Foam Adhesives and Designer Shapes add to my card. \u00a0It’s still flat enough to slide into a standard envelope and mail in the post.<\/p>\n

She currently writes regular feature articles and designs for a scrapbooking magazine. Along with writing, Kelly is passionate about teaching. A former high school English teacher, she is happiest in a classroom, crafting together and having a few laughs. \u201cI always enjoy teaching in my local scrapbook stores as well as larger scrapbooking events. She currently writes regular feature articles and designs for a scrapbooking magazine. Along with writing, Kelly is passionate about teaching.
