Hi everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here for the final day of\u00a0blog hopping with May Arts<\/a> this week. I’m going to celebrate the final day of the blog hop by sharing a Christmas card, featuring some beautiful May Arts<\/a> ribbons:<\/p>\n

This gorgeous red glittery wide ribbon is perfect for the holiday season. \u00a0Plus, it is soft and pliable to make bow tying really easy!<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-mayarts-2\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The burlap ribbon works really well as my tree trunk. I just love the natural texture!<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-mayarts-3\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I actually designed this card with that wonderful glittery red ribbon as my inspiration and decided to make a glitter Christmas tree, using 3D Foam Pennants<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On a piece of cream card stock, I lined up the triangular pennants, spaced apart.<\/p>\n

It only took a minute to build up the tree.<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-mayarts-9\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I used two shades of green glitter and alternated covering the \u00a0triangles.<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-mayarts-10\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I left the adhesive backing on the three pennants while I covered the others with dark green glitter. \u00a0Then I peeled off the remaining backing and added the lighter green glitter.<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-mayarts-11\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I used some Crafty Power Tape<\/a> to adhere the May Arts burlap ribbon to a strip of cream card stock.<\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-mayarts-6\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The layers of paper on the card were adhered with my personalized MyStik\u00ae Permanent Strips.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"KellyKlapstein-mayarts-5\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I trimmed around the card stock edges of the finished tree and adhered it to the card using 3D Foam Squares<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I love adding sparkle to my Christmas cards, so the combination of glitter and sparkly May Arts<\/a> ribbon really makes me happy!<\/p>\n

She currently writes regular feature articles and designs for a scrapbooking magazine. Along with writing, Kelly is passionate about teaching. She currently writes regular feature articles and designs for a scrapbooking magazine. Along with writing, Kelly is passionate about teaching.
