Hello Everyone!\u00a0 It’s Kelly Klapstein here to share a cute birthday card with you.<\/p>\n

\"photo<\/a><\/p>\n

On January 5, we celebrated my daughter’s 17th birthday, so I wanted to make a card for the special occasion that had plenty of sparkle.\u00a0 Every girl loves glitter, right?<\/p>\n

I adhered my paper pieces to my card base with E-Z Dots\u2122 Permanent Refillable <\/a>runner.<\/p>\n

To make these sparkly candles, I used pieces of Crafty Foam Tape <\/a>and lined them up in a row.<\/p>\n

\"photo<\/a><\/p>\n

Then I added different coloured of glitter to each one by removing the backing and sprinkling the glitter onto each strip one at a time.<\/p>\n

\"photo<\/a><\/p>\n

To create the “flames” on top of each candle, I used the smallest 3D Foam Hearts <\/a>and cut them in half.<\/p>\n

Gold glitter helped make these flames shine brightly.<\/p>\n

I’m happy to report that my girl loved the glitter and the card!\u00a0 And I’m also happy to report that there are NEW 3D Foam Shapes <\/a>released and one set is a birthday theme. YAY! So stay tuned for some exciting blog posts that feature the new foam shapes!<\/p>\n

Finding inspiration from nature, colours and my photos, I enjoy developing creative techniques and organic design elements that are original and intriguing.\u201d She loves to spend time exploring crafting in artistic mediums, playing with paper and imagining unique designs. She currently writes regular feature articles and designs for a scrapbooking magazine. Along with writing, Kelly is passionate about teaching. A former high school English teacher, she is happiest in a classroom, crafting together and having a few laughs. \u201cI always enjoy teaching in my local scrapbook stores as well as larger scrapbooking events. She currently writes regular feature articles and designs for a scrapbooking magazine. Along with writing, Kelly is passionate about teaching.
