C Emberson 1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-1.jpg\" width=\"324\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-1.jpg 324w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-1-194x300.jpg 194w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 324px) 100vw, 324px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">First of all select a piece of yellow cardstock and trim off a strip measuring 12&#8243; x 4&#8243;. \u00a0This isn&#8217;t quite big enough to wrap around the egg so you will need an extra piece measuring 5&#8243; x 4&#8243; to add on &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/crafty-power-tape-20-slash-6m-roll\">Crafty Power Tape<\/a> does this perfectly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15831\" alt=\"Decorated Egg - C Emberson 2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-2.jpg\" width=\"195\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Then score at 6.5&#8243; and 9.5&#8243; &#8211; this creates the base section for your egg.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15833\" alt=\"Decorated Egg - C Emberson 3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-3.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">To decorate, I wanted some Spring-like bunting so the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/new-3d-foam-pennants-100-mix-1\">3D Foam Pennants<\/a>\u00a0were perfect for this.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15835\" alt=\"Decorated Egg - C Emberson 4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-4.jpg\" width=\"243\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I affixed them to patterned paper and then cut around each one.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15837\" alt=\"Decorated Egg - C Emberson 5\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-5.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">For an extra embellishment, make a hole with your pokey tool and insert a brad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15839\" alt=\"Decorated Egg - C Emberson 6\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-6.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"207\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The 3D Foam Pennants and twine are then attached to some patterned paper from Echo Park and the decorated panel is attached to the cardstock using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/e-z-dots-r-permanent-refillable-dispenser-49-slash-15m-1\">E-Z\u00ae Dots Permanent Refilliable<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Decorated-Egg-C-Emberson-7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15841\" alt=\"Decorated Egg - While locked away in her craft room, she always has a DVD playing, from her diverse collection from period dramas - Downton Abbey, Jane Austen to series like Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones. \u201cI always fast forward gory and scary bits!\u201d she laughs. Sometimes a glass of red wine helps with creativity, but of course, she drinks quite a lot of tea, of course! Christine loves Crafty Power Tape, and uses it on all projects from cards, scrapbook pages, tags and more. \u201cI am guaranteed perfect adhesion and I will not get stressed trying to lift off the backing!\u201d Christine has a little shop\/studio where occasionally she teaches classes. \u201cIt is enormously satisfying to come up with a project, share it with others and see the delight on their faces as they are creating.\u201d Christine has been on manufacturers design teams, and appeared on craft TV in the UK.
