Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by. It’s time for another inspiration from Asia King<\/a> (that’s me!). Today I’m sharing a Holy Communion card I made for my niece. In Poland, where I come from, the First Communion is always a big event and I wanted my card to reflect this grand occasion.<\/p>\n

\"First<\/a><\/p>\n

I prepared the base by cutting a 6″x6″ card blank and I added a mat and a (trimmed to size) pearlescent paper panel. I adhered them all with the\u00a0Refillable\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae\u00a0– Permanent Strips<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For my card I used stamps from Stampendous: Jumbo Grapes and Lily Cross. I stamped them both onto pearlescent papers with StazOn inks.<\/p>\n

\"First<\/a><\/p>\n

The Lily Cross image was coloured with Inktense pencils and die cut with Spellbinders die. I adhered the panel to the base of the card with Thin Foam Squares \u2013 White<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For the grapes\u00a0I roughly\u00a0cut around the image, covered the printed side of the paper with Adhesive Sheet<\/a> and burnished it thoroughly. Next\u00a0I fussy cut the image and peeled off the protective sheet to reveal the adhesive. I sprinkled the image with a Crystal Micro Glitter which added sparkle without covering much of\u00a0the stamped impression underneath.<\/p>\n

\"First<\/a><\/p>\n

I also added a handful of <\/a>Dodz Adhesive Dots 3D<\/a> to add dimension to a selection of grapes. I covered the DODZ\u2122 with Micro Glitter as well. I mounted the grape bunch over some cheese cloth onto Crafty Foam Tape<\/a> and Thin White Foam Squares<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To finish I added a sentiment, a few embellishments and some sparkly swirls.<\/p>\n
