Hello everyone! \u00a0It’s Kelly<\/a>\u00a0here to share an anniversary card I made for my husband. \u00a0It’s a big one\u202625 years! Although it’s not until mid-August, I decided to make it now because I know August will be very busy.<\/p>\n

\"kellyklapstein-lucky-1\"<\/a>It can be tricky to make a ‘masculine’ anniversary card, but I think I pulled it off! \u00a0I was inspired by the Freckled Fawn washi tape during the blog hop last week and thought of this tic-tac-toe design.<\/p>\n

It only took me a minute to create this design with the washi tape! \u00a0Love it! \u00a0Another tape I love is the Crafty Power Tape<\/a>, which I used to adhere all my card layers together.<\/p>\n

I used 3D Foam Hearts<\/a> and red glitter instead of X’s and O’s as the tic-tac-toe idea.<\/p>\n

To create a glitter banner for my “Lucky Me” sentiment, I used Crafty Foam Tape<\/a> and cut notches into the ends using non-stick scissors.<\/p>\n

After placing my Crafty Foam Tape<\/a> banner across the bottom of my card, I added more red glitter, to match the 3D Foam Hearts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Then I placed alphabet stickers on top to spell out “Lucky Me.”<\/p>\n

I definitely feel lucky I said “I Do” to the man of my dreams 25 years ago!<\/p>\n

She currently writes regular feature articles and designs for a scrapbooking magazine. Along with writing, Kelly is passionate about teaching. A former high school English teacher, she is happiest in a classroom, crafting together and having a few laughs. \u201cI always enjoy teaching in my local scrapbook stores as well as larger scrapbooking events. She currently writes regular feature articles and designs for a scrapbooking magazine. Along with writing, Kelly is passionate about teaching.
