Fancy Pants,\u00a0Memories Captured.\u00a0 Drew around the heart with a pencil and cut it out.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18579 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart1.jpg\" alt=\"CEmberson - Heart1\" width=\"315\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart1.jpg 315w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart1-189x300.jpg 189w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 315px) 100vw, 315px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">It was then\u00a0simple to adhere the paper to the MDF using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/mystik-permanent-strips-dispenser\">MyStik\u00ae\u00a0Permanent Strips<\/a>\u00a0, as you can see because it dispenses in tiny adhesive strips and is therefore\u00a0perfect for curves.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18577\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart2.jpg\" alt=\"CEmberson - Heart2\" width=\"261\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart2.jpg 261w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart2-156x300.jpg 156w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 261px) 100vw, 261px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I sanded the edges of the heart gently, applied distress ink and stamped a script design to the bottom section.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I then selected a rectangle of patterned paper, distressed and inked the edges.\u00a0 I also raided my material box and found some hessian and frayed the edges, both of these will strongly\u00a0adhere to my project with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/crafty-power-tape-20-slash-6m-roll\">Crafty Power Tape<\/a>.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18575\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart3.jpg\" alt=\"CEmberson - Heart3\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart3.jpg 375w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart3-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Because this\u00a0is a gift for my niece I placed a\u00a0special photo of her inside a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/keepsake-envelopes-assorted\">Keepsake Envelope<\/a>, this will save it getting dusty and adds a nice touch.\u00a0 These come in a variety pack so there&#8217;s always a right size for whatever you place inside!<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18573\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart4.jpg\" alt=\"CEmberson - Heart4\" width=\"396\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart4.jpg 396w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/CEmberson-Heart4-237x300.jpg 237w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 396px) 100vw, 396px\" \/><\/a>I then added some lace, twine, a\u00a0die cut Spellbinders\u00ae\u00a0Create A Sunflower\u00a0and a little brad to represent a closure on the Keepsake Envelope.\u00a0 The sunflower is firmly in place with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/3d-foam-squares-white-regular-size\">3D Foam Squares &#8211; She\u2019s been published a few times and even won a car for writing a short story! Christine loves creating mixed media projects such as gift bags, frames and tags. Visualizing each as a gift for someone helps her go that extra mile. While locked away in her craft room, she always has a DVD playing, from her diverse collection from period dramas - Downton Abbey, Jane Austen to series like Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones. \u201cI always fast forward gory and scary bits!\u201d she laughs. Sometimes a glass of red wine helps with creativity, but of course, she drinks quite a lot of tea, of course! Christine loves Crafty Power Tape, and uses it on all projects from cards, scrapbook pages, tags and more. \u201cI am guaranteed perfect adhesion and I will not get stressed trying to lift off the backing!\u201d Christine has a little shop\/studio where occasionally she teaches classes. \u201cIt is enormously satisfying to come up with a project, share it with others and see the delight on their faces as they are creating.\u201d Christine has been on manufacturers design teams, and appeared on craft TV in the UK.
