Hello everyone! Asia King<\/a> here. Today I am sharing an exploding box-card that I made for my friend at work who’s had a baby girl. I recently fell in love with exploding boxes, they are so easy to make and so much fun!<\/p>\n

If you’d like to see how to make one, feel free to check out my tutorial I shared in this post<\/a>\u00a0a couple of months ago.<\/p>\n

\"It's<\/p>\n

The inside panels of the box were adhered\u00a0with\u00a0\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips – Refillable<\/a> and additional layers mounted over\u00a0Thin 3D Foam Squares – Mix White<\/a>. I added some stamping and decorated some smaller pieces with Ivory Creative Photo Corners<\/a>. I also included a small Keepsake Envelope<\/a> for the Baby Girl’s photo.<\/p>\n

As \u00a0a ‘centrepiece’ for the base I used this little cupcake – which is actually made of a pair of tiny baby socks. Aren’t these cutest ever? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

\"It's<\/p>\n

For the lid I used\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips – Refillable<\/a>\u00a0to adhere the circle die cut panel and to attach the rest of the elements I used\u00a0DODZ\u2122 – 3D <\/a>and\u00a0DODZ\u2122 – Medium<\/a>. The outer sides of base are embellished with ribbon and I added some glittered 3D Foam Hearts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"It's<\/p>\n

The word ‘Baby’ was die cut twice and I mounted the second layer over\u00a0DODZ\u2122 – 3D\u00a0<\/a>and tiny cut pieces of\u00a0Thin 3D Foam Squares – Mix White<\/a>. Adding the second layer slightly off to the side created a faux \u00a0‘shadow’, adding a bit more interest.<\/p>\n

\"It's<\/p>\n

Next I sprinkled some pearl pink glitter over the exposed parts of\u00a0DODZ\u2122 – 3D<\/a>. I love how the DODZ\u2122 framed the centre cluster.<\/p>\n
