Michele <\/a>here with a tropical color scheme for a winter card.   I have a stash of paint chip samples and decided to put them to good use and combined them with some fun Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L\u00ae  products,<\/a> WOW! embossing powder, and a WOW! stamp.<\/a><\/p>\n

So here is the scoop on how it was created.  I cut the paint chips into one inch strips and arranged them in an ombre fashion.  I used the background stamp by WOW <\/a>called Cracked Leather.<\/a>  I stamped it with Versarmark and embossed with WOW Pearl Gold Sparkle embossing powder. <\/a> I also dipped each edge into my Versamark and embossed that as well. I absolutely LOVE how sparkly this gold is!!!<\/p>\n

I added a strip of gold paper and adhered it with E-Z Dots\u00ae Permanent \u2013 Refillable<\/a>. I  die cut two snowflakes.  I embossed the larger one with the Pearl Gold WOW! embossing powder <\/a>and the 3D Foam Snowflake<\/a> from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I did the same with the dots that were on the same sheet as the snowflakes.<\/p>\n

I added ribbon and flowers to the center of the snowflake using my DODZ\u2122 Medium<\/a> to hold it in place. I also added a few sequins and gold thread.<\/p>\n
