It&#8217;s Christine, today I have a tutorial for a chevron design on this Friends Forever Tag.\u00a0 A New Year tends to make you reflective and I\u2019ve certainly had a year where I\u2019ve needed my friends. It\u2019s nice to tell them occasionally how much you value them and for my best friend a handmade tag on a gift is perfect!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" Design<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">First of all I selected a kraft tag and using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/mystik-permanent-strips-dispenser\">MyStik\u00ae Permanent Strips<\/a> I cut and adhered a piece of patterned paper to the front.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-62603 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/CEmberson-Friend-Tag-2a.jpg\" alt=\"Christine Emberson Friends Forever Tag with Chevron Tutorial\" width=\"306\" height=\"446\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/CEmberson-Friend-Tag-2a.jpg 306w, left;\">Onto a strip of white card I alternated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/photo-corners-classic-style-black\">Creative Photo Corners Black<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/photo-corners-classic-style-white\">Creative Photo Corners White<\/a> to create an arrow\/chevron effect.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-62605 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/CEmberson-Friend-Tag-3a.jpg\" alt=\"Christine left;\">For the finishing touches I added Sprigs die cut and Bitty Blossoms flower and the sentiment is affixed with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/3d-foam-squares-white-regular-size\">3D Foam Squares White Regular<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" She is a busy single mum to two teenage sons, two cats and a sweet pup named Bella. Christine works part time in London for a law firm. She splits her passions between crafts and writing. She\u2019s been published a few times and even won a car for writing a short story! Christine loves creating mixed media projects such as gift bags, frames and tags. Visualizing each as a gift for someone helps her go that extra mile. While locked away in her craft room, she always has a DVD playing, from her diverse collection from period dramas - Downton Abbey, Jane Austen to series like Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones. \u201cI always fast forward gory and scary bits!\u201d she laughs. Sometimes a glass of red wine helps with creativity, but of course, she drinks quite a lot of tea, of course! Christine loves Crafty Power Tape, and uses it on all projects from cards, scrapbook pages, tags and more. \u201cI am guaranteed perfect adhesion and I will not get stressed trying to lift off the backing!\u201d Christine has a little shop\/studio where occasionally she teaches classes. \u201cIt is enormously satisfying to come up with a project, share it with others and see the delight on their faces as they are creating.\u201d Christine has been on manufacturers design teams, and appeared on craft TV in the UK. While locked away in her craft room, she always has a DVD playing, from her diverse collection from period dramas - Downton Abbey, Jane Austen to series like Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones. \u201cI always fast forward gory and scary bits!\u201d she laughs. Sometimes a glass of red wine helps with creativity, but of course, she drinks quite a lot of tea, of course! Christine loves Crafty Power Tape, and uses it on all projects from cards, scrapbook pages, tags and more. \u201cI am guaranteed perfect adhesion and I will not get stressed trying to lift off the backing!\u201d Christine has a little shop\/studio where occasionally she teaches classes. \u201cIt is enormously satisfying to come up with a project, share it with others and see the delight on their faces as they are creating.\u201d Christine has been on manufacturers design teams, and appeared on craft TV in the UK.
