Angela made this awesome <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2014\/07\/21\/burlap-and-gold-treat-bag-tutorial-with-adhesive-sheets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chic Treat Bag<\/a> using gold leaf and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/adhesive-sheets-6-x-12-slash-15-x-30-5cm\">Adhesive Sheets<\/a>. I loved the textured shimmer so I wanted to try gold leafing, too! Let&#8217;s begin!<\/p>\n<p>1. Cut several strips of\u00a0Adhesive Sheets\u00a0in varying widths. Peel off the yellow backing and apply the adhesive to the acrylic sheet. Using your acrylic piece as a guide, trim a piece of\u00a0black card stock as tall as the acrylic piece and 3\/4 inch wider than the acrylic. Score along the card to create a 3\/4 inch fold as shown. This will become your card&#8217;s insert\/base.<\/p>\n<p>To embellish the fold, stamp music notes with clear embossing ink and heat emboss it in gold.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25035\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Fathers-Day-card_Asia-King8.jpg\" alt=\"Father's Day card_Asia King8\" width=\"381\" height=\"499\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Fathers-Day-card_Asia-King8.jpg 381w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Fathers-Day-card_Asia-King8-229x300.jpg 229w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 381px) 100vw, 381px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>8. She and her husband are parents to an adorable cat Kropek. Crafting for Asia is a real blessing, after spending her days as a full time property manager. She\u2019s always had a creative bug, and her crafting adventure really took off after her wedding 4 years ago. She started with wedding stationery, and then made her first scrapbook album with wedding and honeymoon photos. After that, well, you know!
