Today I’m sharing the Congratulations Fox Canvas Pennant part of my Woodland Forest Fox Birthday Ensemble featured in the Spellbinders Whimsical Woodland Blog Fest<\/a> a couple of weeks ago. The Forest Fox is just too stinkin’ cute!!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

By nesting the dies together and cut\/embossed with different color cardstock, I had color choices to use on my ensemble (open frames, etc.) I used the smallest die cuts as accent pieces for my pennant. To create more interest, I embossed my die cuts with an embossing folder. Note: lightly mist the cardstock with water before embossing for a crisper design.<\/p>\n

Using Home and Hobby Extreme Double-Sided Tape \u2013 \u00bc\u201d<\/a>, I adhered the two die cuts onto a canvas pennant. To give more dimension to the background, I adhered the third die cut with 3D Foam Squares Black, Regular<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For the fox, I cut\/embossed\/stenciled my pieces with Kraft paper. I assembled and adhered with HomeHobby Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a> (think paper piecing). I added black faceted rhinestones for its eyes and nose. Then I adhered the fox piece on top of the layered pennant front.<\/p>\n

Next, I cut\/embossed “Congratulations” using yellow cardstock and adhered the words with Adhesive Sheet \u2013 4\u00d76\u2033<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lastly, I adhered two wooden buttons using DODZ Adhesive Dots 3D<\/a> and wrapped twine around each button (and DODZ Adhesive Dots 3D to secure) to create a loop to hold the pennant on the wall.<\/p>\n
