{"id":28825,"date":"2015-11-23T00:01:21","date_gmt":"2015-11-23T06:01:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/?p=28825"},"modified":"2022-03-21T17:08:55","modified_gmt":"2022-03-21T22:08:55","slug":"you-are-cool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2015\/11\/23\/you-are-cool\/","title":{"rendered":"You Are Cool Card"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi everyone,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/laurelseabrookdesigns.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laurel<\/a> here with a &#8216;cool&#8217; winter themed card.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-28841\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/2015-11-22_2012-copy-392x5001.jpg\" alt=\"You Are Cool card by Laurel Seabrook for Scrapbook Adhesives by3L\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/2015-11-22_2012-copy-392x5001.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/2015-11-22_2012-copy-392x5001-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/2015-11-22_2012-copy-392x5001-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I received some new papers, dies and stamps the other day and couldn&#8217;t wait to put them to use. \u00a0Of course when building the base I put the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/e-z-runner-r-permanent-strips-refillable-dispenser-49-slash-15m\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips<\/a> to use as they work so well to hold the panels in place.<\/p>\n<p>To adhere the snowflakes I used some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/dodz-small-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DODZ\u2122 Small<\/a> to hold them in place and then when I was happy with their position I staple them for an added texture. \u00a0I mounted the cup on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/3d-foam-squares-white-variety-pack\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3D Foam Squares<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-28827 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/2015-11-22_2013-500x330.jpg\" alt=\"2015 11 22_2013\" width=\"500\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/2015-11-22_2013-500x330.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/2015-11-22_2013-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tip: \u00a0The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/mystik-repositionable-dots-refill#prettyImage[images]\/1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MyStik\u00ae Repositionable Dots<\/a> work well for holding dies in place while cutting. \u00a0I wanted the &#8216;straw&#8217; cut out of a scrap piece of paper and since it is a long thin die, I didn&#8217;t want it to move around so I just use a few of the Dots and it worked like a charm.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for visiting today.<\/p>\n<p>Products Used:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/e-z-runner-r-permanent-strips-refillable-dispenser-49-slash-15m\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable <\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/dodz-small-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DODZ\u2122 Small<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/3d-foam-squares-white-variety-pack\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3D Foam Squares<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/mystik-repositionable-dots-dispenser\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MyStik\u00ae Repositionable Dots<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Products:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pattern Paper: Pebbles<\/li>\n<li>Dies &amp; Stamp: My Favorite Things<\/li>\n<li>Enamel Dot: My Mind&#8217;s Eye<\/li>\n<li>Punch: Marvy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi everyone,\u00a0Laurel here with a &#8216;cool&#8217; winter themed card.
