Hi everyone Laurel<\/a> here with a travel ensemble.<\/p>\n

My husband, daughter and myself are headed to Greece!<\/p>\n

In preparation for our trip I created some little notebooks for each of us to document our own views and memories. \u00a0I also created some luggage tags. \u00a0Now we just have to count the days!<\/p>\n

I purchased a bunch of mini composition notebooks years ago when they were on clearance for 10 cents each! \u00a0They are perfect for travel logs as they are small and don’t take up a lot of room. \u00a0Of course they have to be altered \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The first thing I did was create panels to cover the front and back, by cutting a background paper to size. \u00a0I then decorated the front parts, with layering bits and pieces using the\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Permanent Strips (150′)\u00a0Home & Hobby<\/a>, some Dodz\u2122<\/a>, along with of course stitching and staples.<\/p>\n

To adhere the letters and the planes I used some Dodz\u2122 \u00a0just to hold them in place while I stitched and stapled.<\/p>\n

I usually like to have some of my items mounted with some Foam Squares but since these will be travelling and possibly taking some abuse, I kept them as flat as I could. \u00a0To adhere the panels to the notebooks I used some of the\u00a0Premium Double-Sided Tape 1\u2033<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Next up I created some luggage tags. \u00a0These were super easy to do using the Multi-Purpose\u00a0 Tags with Loops<\/a>. \u00a0I just cut the paper to fit, adhered our information label and then tucked them in the Self-Laminating Tags.<\/p>\n

Now just waiting to go. \u00a0It is going to be so much fun!<\/p>\n
