Hi crafty friends and Happy Easter! It’s Lisa on the blog with you today to share a super pretty Spring card that I made that is appropriate for any occasion, with just a change of sentiment.<\/p>\n

\"LisaAdametz-HelloSpring-03272016-1\"<\/p>\n

Stamping the sentiment in a dark grey and then using watercolor pencils to color in the image is where I started with this card. The stamp itself shows where the highlights and lowlights should be, which is very helpful. Then I used a transparent watercolor that is “impregnated” on a piece of paper to do the rest. \u00a0I added a touch of enamel accents to add a glossy finish to the centers of the flowers, as well. Once the color is dry the panel is die-cut.<\/p>\n

\"LisaAdametz-HelloSpring-03272016-2\"<\/p>\n

Two patterned papers were adhered together using my new absolute FAVE adhesive: the E-Z Runner\u00ae Ultra Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. This stuff is so strong and lays down so smooth, just like buttah. \ud83d\ude09 Once adhered I die cut them, too. I cut a doily in half (no idea where I got it) and adhered that puppy down (not a real puppy, please don’t call the SPCA on me!) with \u00a0my trusty ‘ol favorite E-Z Dots\u00ae Permanent Refillable Dispenser<\/a>\u00a0to the patterned paper so that the frilly side was about at the edge.<\/p>\n

I then doubled the darkest blue of the Twine and wrapped it around the middle of the patterned paper panel and tied into a bow. This gives the appearance of 4 bows and 4 tails. I added an\u00a0Adhesive Dots Mini<\/a> under the center of the bow to keep it from shifting and to add stability to the bow I dipped my fingers into theArt Medium and ran my fingers around the bow to give it shape. This little trick is so cool!<\/p>\n

3D Foam Squares – Black, Regular<\/a>\u00a0were added to the water-colored panel and then that was placed on top of the patterned paper panel. \u00a0A stamped, embossed sentiment was done onto some cardstock weight vellum which was then wrapped around the entire piece and again, adhered on the back with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Ultra Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To embellish I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Sequins using the Adhesive Dots Mini<\/a>\u00a0and then adhered the whole she-bang to a base card cut so that it opens vertically.<\/p>\n
