Hey everyone! It’s Lisa with you to share a pretty card that I made using a Stampendous butterfly stamp and coordinating die along with some lovely graphic papers, colored pencils, and our amazing adhesives, of course. This card comes together really fast after the coloring is done.<\/p>\n

\"LisaAdametz-YouAreAmazing-04272016-1\"<\/p>\n

I stamped the butterflies 3 times using an archival ink and colored them in using high-quality colored pencils that allow for blending. \u00a0The butterflies were die-cut with their matching die.<\/p>\n

To add interest and shimmer mix a small amount of Pigment Powder in Wine\u00a0and paint it to the centers of the butterflies and blend it out.<\/p>\n

Cut 2 3D Foam Squares – Black, Small<\/a> in half and place one half on the back on each butterfly. Set aside for later.<\/p>\n

Die cut patterned paper with off set square shape. Stamp and heat emboss sentiment on a smaller piece of cardstock that will fit behind “window” created by wonky square. \u00a0Adhere the sentiment square to the patterned paper using E-Z Runner\u00ae Ultra Refillable<\/a> to create a strong bond. Use this same adhesive to attach to panel of dark grey cardstock which is cut slightly larger than patterned paper. Place strips of Crafty Foam Tape- Black<\/a> on back of this panel.<\/p>\n

Cut a piece of patterned paper the exact same size as card front and adhere using E-Z Dots\u00ae Permanent Refillable.\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0Wrap doubled-up piece of\u00a0 Twine in pink around the panel with the sentiment and tie in bow. (I usually place a Adhesive Dots Mini<\/a> under the bow to keep it in place.) Remove liners and place almost to edge of card front. Remove liners from backs of butterflies and place where pleasing to the eye.<\/p>\n

In this next on you can really see how the panel is 3 dimensional and how the butterflies just “fly” off the card.<\/p>\n
