Hello crafty friends! Today, I have a Denim and Ribbon Box Topper to show you. It may look hard but it\u2019s quite easy to make.<\/p>\n

\"judy_hayes_denim_and_ribbon_box_topper-1\"<\/p>\n

To make the Denim and Ribbon medallion, start with 10\u02ba each of scallop edge denim ribbon and white organza.<\/p>\n

Fold the sheer ribbon off center lengthwise and place the denim ribbon along folded edge. With a needle and piece of twine, make running stitches along edge through all layers.<\/p>\n

Pull twine to gather ribbons and knot ends. Leave opening in center slightly smaller than button.<\/p>\n

\"judy_hayes_denim_and_ribbon_box_topper-3\"<\/p>\n

Apply piece of Extreme Double-Sided Tape\u00a0\u00bc\u02ba<\/a> to ribbon ends.<\/p>\n

\"judy_hayes_denim_and_ribbon_box_topper-4\"<\/p>\n

Fasten together to form seam.<\/p>\n

\"judy_hayes_denim_and_ribbon_box_topper-5\"<\/p>\n

Tie twine in button holes.\u00a0 Apply 1 or 2 Adhesive Dots Large to back of button.\u00a0 Press onto ribbons medallion.<\/p>\n

\"judy_hayes_denim_and_ribbon_box_topper-6\"<\/p>\n

Cut piece of sheer ribbon and knot in center.\u00a0Gather several loops of twine<\/p>\n

\"judy_hayes_denim_and_ribbon_box_topper-7\"<\/p>\n

Place another Adhesive Dot on back of button.<\/p>\n

\"judy_hayes_denim_and_ribbon_box_topper-7b\"<\/p>\n

Press twine onto Adhesive Dot.<\/p>\n

\"judy_hayes_denim_and_ribbon_box_topper-8\"<\/p>\n

Add another Adhesive Dot. Press knot of sheer ribbon onto it.<\/p>\n

\"judy_hayes_denim_and_ribbon_box_topper-9\"<\/p>\n

Add another Adhesive Dot to fasten to box top.<\/p>\n

\"judy_hayes_denim_and_ribbon_box_topper-10\"<\/p>\n

Cover top of box with wood look washi tape.<\/p>\n

Wrap Extreme Double-Sided Tape \u00bd\u02ba<\/a> around edge of box top. Fasten Denim Ribbons to tape. Tuck end under and fasten with small piece of Extreme Double-Sided Tape.<\/p>\n

Make small card from Kraft card stock, Add piece of washi tape. Write or stamp message.\u00a0 Punch hole in corner and tie around Denim and Ribbon Topper.<\/p>\n

Ready to add a gift for someone special!<\/p>\n

\"judy_hayes_denim_and_ribbon_box_topper-14\"<\/p>\n

I hope I\u2019ve inspired you to try this technique.\u00a0 For a different look, try this technique\u00a0with Lace Ribbons in place of Denim Ribbons.\u00a0 This would be\u00a0cute as hair bow as well. Simply sew it to a hair clip.<\/p>\n
