School is right around the corner (YAY!) which means you’re BUSY getting kids ready! What about a teacher’s gift? Well, look no further! It\u2019s Erica\u00a0and today I\u2019m sharing a cute school themed notepad. Just use a large tag using\u00a0 Adhesive Dots Small<\/a> and\u00a0Adhesive Dots Mini<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Teacher<\/p>\n

I started by scoring and folding a large tag almost in half – just line the bottom corners up with the top corners leaving the rounded edge exposed.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0then scored two pieces of patterned paper in half and adhered the yellow pattern paper (shown below) to the inside of my tag using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Dispenser<\/a> dispenser. Once the paper was in place I trimmed the excess from the left and right edges. I then adhered the black pattern paper to the outside of my tag also using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Dispenser<\/a> dispenser and trimmed the excess paper.<\/p>\n

I adhered the larger banner diecut pieces and the ‘school days’ label using the\u00a0DODZ Adhesive Dots Small<\/a>. I used the\u00a0and\u00a0DODZ Adhesive Dots Mini<\/a>\u00a0to adhere my buttons. This size is absolutely perfect for buttons and sequins!<\/p>\n

I tied a pretty bow and added a sticky notepad on the inside. Pair this with a fun colored pen and you’re all set.<\/p>\n

My papercrafting style is shabby-chic \u2013 I love glitter, rhinestones, and anything else that has glitz, glamour and a lot of sparkle. I\u2019m totally addicted to patterned paper so I\u2019ve resorted to using lots of layers in order to use all of the wonderful papers that come in each collection. I never feel my pages are complete until I\u2019ve added flowers, ribbon and machine stitching. I enjoy creating a variety of projects including layouts, cards, tags, off the page projects and a mini album every now and then. In addition to creating for various design teams I also enjoy teaching classes at LSS\u2019s because I love sharing my passion for papercrafting with others.
