It\u2019s fun to be blog hopping with Lawn Fawn today!\u00a0 For my project, I used some bright papers from Lawn Fawn\u2019s Perfectly Plaid Petite Paper Pack<\/a> to make a Butterfly Card and coordinating notepad.<\/p>\n

\"Butterfly<\/p>\n

The butterfly and verse are from Lawn Fawn\u2019s Flutter By<\/a> stamp set.\u00a0 Each was stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder and then colored with markers.\u00a0 I used E-Z Dots\u00ae Permanent Refillable Dispenser<\/a> to fasten papers to white card.\u00a0 The butterfly is fastened with Dodz Adhesive Dots Mini<\/a> and 3D Foam Squares White Small<\/a> to pop up the wings. I added white dots along flight of butterfly, antennae and stitches on paper band. The little notepad is covered with same bright papers that are fastened with Adhesive Sheets 6 x 12\u02ba<\/a>.\u00a0 The butterfly is stamped and colored same as the one on the card and is also fastened with Adhesive Sheets 6 x 12\u02ba<\/a>.\u00a0 Faux stitch lines accent the edges of notepad flap.\u00a0 It\u2019s a fun card and mini notepad gift to brighten someone\u2019s day!<\/p>\n

I\u2019m delighted to be partaking in the Lawn Fawn and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L\u00ae blog hop.\u00a0Such a lovely choice of stamps, papers, inks and more.\u00a0Being a fan of all things dotty I was immediately drawn to the Let\u2019s Polka in the Meadow \u2013 Collection Pack<\/a> and I couldn\u2019t resist Sophie\u2019s Sentiments<\/a> \u2013 just a brilliant collection of useful stamps. My project is decorating three mini pillow boxes, ideal for small gifts or table favors.<\/p>\n

Using the Let\u2019s Polka in the Meadow \u2013 Collection Pack<\/a>, I chose three colours that coordinated well and cut strips to wrap around the pillow boxes.\u00a0To affix into place I used E-Z Runner\u00ae Micro Permanent Strips Dispenser<\/a> \u2013 this dispenses a fine strip of adhesive allowing me perfect precision.\u00a0I die cut some flowers and stamped some tags with Sophie\u2019s Sentiments<\/a>. Positioned and then secured these in place with 3D Foam Squares White Regular<\/a>. I don\u2019t think 3D Foam Squares ever leave my craft desk! Easy projects to make and so effective with the beautiful paper and stamps.<\/p>\n
