Father’s Day is fast approaching. Today I’m creating a clean and simple (CAS) card with dimension using 3D Foam Squares White, Regular<\/a>, perfect for the dad who loves the ocean or lives by water – a fisherman, swimmer or lake house loving guy. Authentique Papers Seafarer Collection is just what is needed. Here’s a look at my finished card.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I have my material out on the table ready to use, along with 3D Foam Squares White, Regular<\/a> and my E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Dispenser<\/a>\u00a0to put it all together.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

First, I wove part of the background. I chose two coordinating patterned papers and used a little bit of adhesive to hold the edges in place as more and more strips were added. The\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Dispenser<\/a>\u00a0makes this easy with its thin strips. When finished, I trimmed off the excess hanging over the edge of the card.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

To adhere the cardstock stickers, I used\u00a03D Foam Squares White, Regular<\/a>. They add a little bit on dimension to this card front and can be easily mailed.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

To finish, some natural burlap string in a fun knot was added as well as the word “Dad” in letter stickers.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

You can use this basket weave application on any style of card. It’s also a great way to use up scraps in your stash or if you’re not a stamper. Go get crafty!<\/p>\n
